Students not being able to sign for attendance via app at any point in time

I have noticed that students can sign that they attended workshop via the app at any point. We had a student sign their attendance 3 days before the session started. This creates incorrect attendance data and makes it hard to track in the system who actually attended the workshop.

  Agree students shouldn't be able to sign attendance outside of the hours of the workshop. We would love to utilize student attendance with students signatures but there are a few compliance issues, and general issues we have that is preventing us from using this feature. Such as student can only sign by logging into their portal, this creates issues when we have a no mobile phone policy particularly with our VETiS cohorts. Would be great if there was a link that we could bring up on another device that as participants are walking in and out they can sign in on that device without logging in.

  That is concerning that they can sign attendance before the date, I would have thought it would be like the basic marking of attendance where a trainer can't update this until the day of the workshop.

  This is still a problem. Not from the online interface using google but on the Learner app you can sign in for any class ahead of time.
