Delivery Locations - aXcelerate ID

Like a lot of things in AVETMISS reporting, we have to setup fields for the sake or linking information between NAT files - delivery location being one.

To avoid duplication (and thus errors), we simply use the aXcelerate LocationID (from the URL), but this requires us creating a location, saving and returning to identify the LocationID.

It would be useful when creating a delivery location if we could select to simply use the aXcelerate identifier rather than having to create our own.

  We use the postcode and append a number to the end, e.g. for postcode 2600 we would have locations with the following ID's:

  
  

  This is helpful when we are setting delivery locations against classes.

  I would personally like it if the system automatically did something like this.

  I agree that aXcelerate should systematically assign a delivery location ID. I used to give location IDs by combining the area code with a numerical identifier. However, I found it more effective to use the area code combined with an abbreviation of the client or building name.
