Bulk Enrol through Workshop

We use the bulk enrol feature within workshops to record attendance for students at short non-accredited courses. A tablet is handed around the class at the start of the session and the students enter their names and email addresses. On occasions, when the workshop has commences, aXcelerate times out and the names disappear before the trainer gets chance to submit the enrolments. This results in loss of information. Is there a way that this function can autosave the details instead to prevent the duplication of entry?
