Why should I use a different browser?
For security, compatibility, and functionality reasons Internet Explorer will no longer be supported and maintained by Microsoft. As the platform is no longer supported by Microsoft, aXcelerate can no longer ensure compatibility and performance for users utilising Internet Explorer.
What does 'Ending Support for Internet Explorer' mean?
aXcelerate will no longer be fixing issues specific to Internet Explorer. While many of the main functions of the aXcelerate system will still work with Internet Explorer, some specific functions may not work as intended or will show visual defects. This will be more prevalent in the newer areas of the system such as Online Assessments. When a user logs in to aXcelerate using Internet Explorer, a warning message will be displayed, recommending they use a different browser.
How do I use a different browser?
There are many modern browsers available that will work with aXcelerate and continue to be supported. These include: Google Chrome, Safari, Mozilla Firefox and Microsoft Edge. aXcelerate typically recommends Google Chrome, but any of the other listed browsers will work just as well.
