The results of surveys sent through aXcelerate are able to be collated and viewed in various ways. The results can be grouped by survey, participant or individual question. Responses to questions set to be reported for quality can also be created into Quality Goals or Tasks in the Quality Register.
Quality
View Training Related survey responses
This function allows you to view responses for surveys sent to participants of a particular Workshop Type or Qualification.
- Select a Workshop Type or Qualification
- Select a survey and corresponding Date(s) to view responses
Tip: Use the dropdown filter at the top of the survey results page to view responses for a specific participant of the survey.
Note: Participants who have requested that their responses are anonymous will not appear in the respondee dropdown filter. Questions answered by anonymous responders will appear, but have no name next to the responses.
View Standalone Survey Results
Standalone Survey Results can be viewed from the Survey Access Point when viewing a survey.
- Click on the Survey List tab
- Click on a Survey Name
- Click Survey Access Points
- Select a Survey Version
- Set the Access Point to Results
- Click Show Access Point
- Click Go There Now
Note: The View Responses tab which will only show Training Related Survey Results. Standalone Survey Results must be viewed from the Survey Access Point.
View survey data
The survey data page shows the date that responses were provided for specific questions within a survey. The responder name will also be shown if the response was not anonymous. This page enables you to view and delete 'raw' (unedited) survey data from the database.
- Click the Survey Data tab
- Select a Survey to view data for
- Click Search
Tip: To narrow your search, enter a UserID, survey ID or select the types of questions you would like to view the responses for.
Note: The information displayed in this table will show the ID of each variable from the database. The ID of a survey can be found in the URL of the page when updating a particular survey.
Warning: Tick the checkbox in the Del column and click Delete All Selected Responses to remove specific survey responses from the system. These responses cannot be retrieved once deleted.
View quality survey results
Quality
The results that are displayed are for questions which have the Report for Quality setting enabled.
- Select a Workshop Type the survey applies to
- Select a Date Range to narrow your search results
- Click Submit
Tip: Quality tasks can be used to create improvements tasks or goals in the Goals/Quality register.
Create quality improvement tasks & goals from survey results
Tasks and goals can be created from the responses of questions which have the Report for Quality setting enabled.
- View Quality Survey Results
- Tick the responses for a question
- Click Create Quality Improvement Goal/Task
Note: Goals and tasks can be accessed from the Goals/Quality Register under Quality.
Create survey group
Various versions of a particular survey can be grouped so that the results can be combined and analysed together.
Quality
- Set a group Description
- Enter a random 6 digit Pass Code which is used by external users to access the survey results.
- Select the Survey which will have various versions of its results collated.
Delete a survey group
Quality
- Click the Delete icon next to a survey group
- Click OK when prompted to confirm the deletion
Add a survey version to a survey group
Quality
- Select a survey version to add to the survey group
- Click the Add icon
Delete a survey version from survey group
Quality
- Click the Delete icon next to a survey version
- Click OK when prompted to confirm the deletion
View group survey results
Click the URL below a survey group to view the results of all versions of the survey included in the group.

Tip: Toggle between anonymous and named survey responses by clicking 'Change links to show names' or 'Change links to make respondees anonymous'.
View class survey results
Surveys can be sent to a class of students when viewing the class. The results of the class survey can then be viewed from the Class Matrix page.
- Hover over Communication
- Select Surveys
- Click Class Survey Results
View LE/ES survey results
After AQTF Learner Engagement (LE) or Employer Satisfaction (ES) Surveys have been sent to eligible students and employer contacts, the results of the surveys can be reported and analysed.
The results will be output as a chart and will also include a summary of surveys received and response rate. This data can be included in the Quality Indicator annual summary report required by ASQA.
Quality
- Select the Survey
- Set the Reporting Year for the responses you want to report on
- Set the Date Range of the responses (Optional: Reporting Year is more useful)
- Select a Qualification
- Select a Class
- Click Submit
Note: ASQA now only requires summary data and insights from the provider. The old CSV export is no longer supported. We recommend to simply use the Reporting Year filter to produce your summary.
Warning: Be aware that for performance, these survey results pull from our cached database. This means responses could take up to 24 hours to appear in the result set.
