Rooms allow you to create locations (specific areas or rooms) to be booked and allocated throughout aXcelerate. These can be booked as assets via the calendar, manually allocated to workshops or used while timetabling a class.
Resources
Create a room
- Add Room Name
- Select Room Type
- Add Venue if applicable
- Add an Access contact
- Fill in other Fields as required
- Click Add Room
Tip: Adding a venue is Highly recommended for Workshop setup
Note: Before you set up a room, make sure a venue contact is set up. Ensure that the contact's street address is the same as the street address of the venue.
Update a room
- Find room in the room table
- Click the update icon next to the room you wish to update
- Make the required changes
- Click Update Room
Book a Room
- Find room in the room table
- Click the book icon next to the room you wish to update
- Enter Reason
- Enter Date and Times
- Select whether you want to add it to the calendar
- Enter Reason
- Click Update Room
Delete a room
- Select the Delete icon next to the room you wish to remove from the system
- Click Ok to confirm that you wish to delete the selected Room
Note: If the room is currently being used in the system you won't be able to delete it.
Warning: Once a Room has been deleted it cannot be retrieved or recovered.
Book multiple assets
Resources
- Select Assets as required
- Enter Reason
- Enter Date and Times
- Select whether you want to add it to the calendar
- Click Submit
Tip: Assets that can be booked simultaneously include trainers, rooms and equipment.
