The Resource Library allows files to be uploaded into aXcelerate so that the resource can be accessed by particular users in the system or publicly. The accessibility of the resource is able to be controlled to limit those who have access to the file. A link to the resource is able to be generated so that it can be linked directly to users or in a public capacity. Resource Links are useful to provide access to student handbooks, course outlines and other relevant course material in templates or course descriptions.

Public resources will not be indexed by search engines - in other words, they will not appear on pages such as Google search results.
Warning: Resources will need to be made publicly accessible before they can be viewed without requiring access to aXcelerate. Setting a resource to be publicly available will alter the resource link. Please ensure that you set the resource to be public before placing links in templates or other public materials.

Creating LTI Resources
Many tool providers such as Catapult follow a standard so their tools can be integrated into learning systems. LTI (Learning Tools Interoperability) is a type of resource that uses the IMS Global LTI 1.0/1.1 spec. This will allow you to integrate these tools as aXcelerate resources.
- From the Resource Type dropdown, select LTI
- Set a Resource Name
- Input the Launch URL, Consumer Key and Consumer Secret provided by your tool provider
- Set who the resource should be accessible by
- Click Submit
Tip: Anyone that would like to integrate the Cengage platform into their aXcelerate course content can follow the instructions in this help guide.
Warning: Currently only basic launching into an LTI resource is supported. Grades and other information will not be automatically sent back to aXcelerate.
