Organisation categories allow you to group and sort organisations by assigning them a category. By assigning a category to an organisation you can create reports that are filtered by category and streamline your communication with groups of organisations.
Settings
Add a new organisation category
- Click Add New Category
- Set a Category Code
- Assign a Category Description
- Click Submit
Update an organisation category
- Search for the required Category
- Click the Update icon next to the category you would like to edit
- Make the required changes to the category
- Click Submit
Deactivate and activate an organisation category
- Select the Deactivate icon next to an organisation category
- View deactivated categories by selecting the Inactive tab above the list of organisation categories
- Select the Activate icon next to the deactivated organisation category you wish to reactivate
Note: Inactive organisation categories will not appear in lists of selectable organisation categories in other areas of the system.
Delete organisation category
- Select the Delete icon next to an organisation category
- Click Ok when prompted to confirm the deletion
Note: Categories currently linked to an organisation/s cannot be deleted.
Add a category to an organisation
Contacts
- Update an Organisation
- Scroll to the Organisation Category field
- Select a Category to apply to the organistation
- Click Submit
