Welcome to the aXcelerate dashboard. This page will show any aXcelerate system notifications as well as any dashboard widgets you have configured and set to display. You will be able to access other areas of the system using the navigation menu in the page header which will be persistent across any other page within the system.
Tip: Quickly return to the dashboard by clicking on your Main Logo.
Note: The image used as your main logo can be altered from Core Settings.
Add a dashboard widget
Widgets are able to be added to your dashboard to show various information immediately as you log in to the aXcelerate management portal.
- Click on the Cog icon in the top left of the dashboard, above your current widgets
- Click Add Widget
- Select the type of widget you would like to add
Tip: Saved reports can be displayed as a dashboard widget but must first be configured to display in a chart format.
Note: Widgets can be removed from your dashboard by clicking the X icon and then Save Layout.
Access help documentation
Our knowledgeable and various forms of help documentation are accessible from the question mark icon in the navigation menu.
- Hover over the Help tab of the navigation menu
- Select a type of help resource to access
Tip: You can also click the question mark icon next to a page title to open the aXcelerate assistant.
Search contacts
The search contacts field allows you to quickly look for contacts in the system by first name, surname, organisation or contact ID.
- Enter your search term into the Search Contacts field
- Click on a contact in the search results to view their contact profile
Tip: Hover the mouse over a search result in the menu to see the date of birth of that contact.
Note: For more complex search options go to Contacts > Search Contacts.
View notifications
System notifications will be shown in the top right-hand corner of the screen. The number of unread notifications will be displayed on the Notifications icon.
- Click the Notification icon in the top right-hand corner of the screen
- Click Mark as Read to remove the notification
Tip: Click 'Mark all as read' to remove all notifications.
Access the user menu
Clicking the Contact icon in the top right-hand corner of the screen will open the User Menu which allows you to quickly access information relating to your user account.
- Click User Menu Icon
- Select an action from the menu
View Contact Profile
View the contact record of the current user.
My User Account
View the user account page of the current user.
Student Portal
View the student portal for the current user.
Log Out
End your aXcelerate browsing session.
Tip: If an image has been uploaded against the contact record, this will appear instead of the placeholder image. To upload a contact photo, click the Add Picture placeholder link from your Contact Profile.
Note: Users linked to multiple accounts when using the Multi-RTO feature will be able to swap between each linked account from this menu.
