Improvements
Restricted portfolio items now enabled for all accounts
Restricted portfolio items have now been released, allowing Admins to tailor portfolio visibility based on assigned permissions:
- Admins can now use the restricted setting at the Portfolio Type level to make created portfolio items restricted
- Adding, updating or uploading files to restricted portfolio items for another contact now requires the restricted Portfolio Types permission
- Users can manage their own portfolio regardless of permission
- The API now returns a documented 401 Unauthorised response when a user without permission attempts to add or update restricted portfolio items
Note: This feature is currently unavailable to Skills customers while we resolve some outstanding issues.
Dividers for Content Elements in Learning Plans
You can now insert a Divider into the text of Content elements within Learning Plans, making it easier to create distinct sections within the one element.
AI assistant now available on every page, with chat history
The AI assistant has been updated to make it easier to access and use:
- The AI assistant side panel can now be opened from any page
- The assistant can help with questions about commonly used pages, including suggested prompts
- Previous chats can now be viewed and returned to from the side panel, including a list of recent chats
- A new user permission has been added for the AI assistant in preparation for upcoming write actions
Note: If you don’t see the AI Assistant option within your Nav bar, or don’t currently have access to AI features, fill out this form.
Accessibility improvements to the form viewer
The form viewer now offers better keyboard navigation, improved contrast for learners with low vision, and clearer labelling for screen readers.
Onboarding form completion message updated
Learners will now see a "Form Completed" message instead of "Enrolment Complete" when submitting a completed onboarding form.
Record which enrolment replaced a superseded enrolment
You can now record which enrolment replaced a superseded class or unit enrolment for the same learner. When transferring a learner to a new class, you can mark the original enrolment as superseded by the new one. This new “Superseded by” field also ensures future compatibility with STARS/VDS.
OSCA added to AVETMISS 8.1 NAT files, NAT file imports and HubSpot
The OSCA field is now included when generating AVETMISS 8.1 NAT files and importing NAT files, and is available as a field in the HubSpot integration.
New status and date fields for the Skills Authorisation Records report
New fields and filters added to the Authorisation Records report let you view an authorisation's calculated status and dates separately from any manual override, including when overrides end and which workers are valid only through a manual grant.
- Calculated Status: status based on the worker's requirements, ignoring any manual override
- Calculated Expiry Date: when the authorisation expires based on its requirements; blank if nothing expires, and keeps a past date until the requirements are met again
- Requirements Met Date: when the worker met the requirements
- Calculated Gained Date: when the authorisation was recorded as valid
- Override Status: Manually Granted or Manually Invalidated; blank if no override is active
- Override Start Date: when the manual override started applying
- Override End Date: when the manual override stops applying; blank if it applies until cleared
- Effective Status: Valid or Invalid, taking any manual override into account
- Valid Until Date: the date the worker's status is guaranteed valid until, including any manual override; blank if not currently valid, nothing expires, or a manual grant has no end date
