Every enquiry and enrolment form you build in the Enroller has its own settings. They control the words students see, how the form looks, who can log in, which courses appear, how enrolments are paid for and whether a student is confirmed or tentative in aXcelerate. For example, you can rename “Student” to “Participant”, limit the course search to one venue, or confirm $0 courses without an invoice.
This article lists each setting in the order it appears, what it does and its default value. It also covers the payment methods on the Billing step and the enrolment status each one produces.

Tip: Use Duplicate on an existing configuration to try out new settings without changing a live form.
Note: Settings apply to one form configuration only. Forms that use a different configuration keep their own settings.
Check a learner's enrolment status
The student’s status in aXcelerate (Tentative or Confirmed) depends on whether the course has a cost, the option they choose on the Billing step, and a few settings.
Select the tab that matches the course being enrolled into.
Each Billing step option confirms the enrolment by default, except Tentative Enrolment. The setting listed makes it tentative instead.

Invoice: Paid on the form
Setting to make it tentative: Payment Tentative

Default status: Tentative
Setting to confirm it: Allow Free Bookings

Set general details
General settings identify the configuration.
Configuration Name
An internal name to help you identify this form configuration. It is for your reference only and does not appear on the form.
Default: Blank
RTO Email Address (Deprecated)
Deprecated: only used by the Debitsuccess payment method, which is no longer supported. It was used with Debitsuccess payment plans: when the payer is under 18, the form asks them to return a signed guarantor form to Debitsuccess or to this address. If left blank, only the Debitsuccess address is shown.
Default: Blank
Warning: RTO Email Address is deprecated. It was only used by the Debitsuccess payment method, which is no longer supported.
Customise the form's appearance
Appearance settings control the form’s layout, style and field labels.
Step Layout
Positions the step menu either to the left of the form or across the top. Options: Left, Top. On narrow screens (under about 600 pixels wide, e.g. phones) the menu moves to the top automatically.
Default: Left
Stylesheet
Applies one of the built-in visual styles to the form. Options: Standard-Navy, Minimal - NewIcons, Minimal - flat, Fresh.
Default: Minimal - NewIcons
Custom Stylesheet
The URL of your own stylesheet. When set, it replaces the built-in Stylesheet entirely rather than adding to it, so it needs to style the whole form.
Default: Blank
Adjust Long Labels
When a field label is wider than normal, shrinks its font size to stop it wrapping onto a second line.
Default: Adjust Labels
Required Icon
Sets the icon shown against required steps in the step menu: a tick (Use Complete Icon) or the standard required icon (Use Required Icon).
Default: Use Complete Icon
Select Placeholders
Sets the placeholder text in drop-down fields before a value is chosen. Use Display Name shows the field’s name (e.g. “Gender” or “Select Gender”); Use Select shows a generic “Select” prompt.
Default: Use Select
Note: A Custom Stylesheet replaces the built-in Stylesheet entirely, so it needs to style the whole form.
Control how returning users log in
These settings control the User Login step: who can log in, whether new contacts can be created, and how duplicate contacts are handled.
Require Login
Yes: removes the new user option from the User Login step, so only people with an existing user account can log in and continue. No: new users can also create a contact on the User Login step.

Default: No
Allow Validate On Create Close
Works with Validate On Create. Allow Closing shows the “Existing Record Found” message as an alert the person can close. Prevent Closing shows it as a pop-up that can’t be dismissed, so they must use the emailed link to continue.

Additional Content Validation Message
Extra text added below the “Existing Record Found” message shown by Validate On Create, e.g. contact details for help.
Default: Blank
Only New Students
Hides the login form and opens the new contact form straight away, so every person is treated as new.
