Settings
Description
Public
The Public option will allow Professionals to view and add this Activity to their Professional Development Plan. It can be considered as a 'Publish' function to the CPD catalogue.
Featured
The Featured option will feature the Activity within the Catalogue of the Learner Portal. The Catalogue will scroll through featured activities, increasing the likelihood Learners will notice it.
Linked Competencies
Maps an Activity to one or more Competencies. Any Professional with a role that has that Competency will be able to select this Activity for their Development Plan.
Training Categories
Adds an Activity to one or more Training Categories. Training Categories act as 'tags' and enable Learners to filter the catalogue when browsing CPD activities.
Continuing Professional Development
This section allows you to define CPD rules for a particular Activity.
Hours is the number of hours that this CPD Activity is worth.
Archive Date, if set, will hide the Activity from the Catalogue on that date, preventing it from being added to a Development Plan. Archived Activities will not be removed from Development Plans.
User Role Permissions
Control which aXcelerate User Roles are allowed to view or enrol into this Activity. This option acts as an additional filter - it will further reduce the number of people the Activity is available for.
Restrict Access to Learners
Control which CPD Business Roles, or aXcelerate Contact Categories are able to view this Activity. These options act as an additional filter - they will further reduce the number of people the Activity is available for.
Self-Recording Evidence
Evidence can be self-recorded by professionals for the cases where they perform CPD-eligible activities external to aXcelerate. Further details to how Professionals Self-Record activities can be found in the Professional Learner guide.
Self-Recorded Activities can be grouped into categories specified by you. Please see the RBL System Settings section for further information.
You can control which users are able to Self-Record Activities through User Permissions. Please see the CPD User Permissions section for further information.
