Building a Competency Framework
Continuing Professional Development relies on a Competency Framework to structure the Competencies that a Role can achieve. A Competency Framework can be configured globally for all Roles, or individually for a specific Role. Each Role needs a framework to reference when setting Competencies for that Role.
Configuring Business Roles
Business Roles are the positions that members of your organisation hold while participating in Continuing Professional Development. Business Roles have individual goals and competencies configured specifically to them, based on the professional abilities that are required in that role. Individuals are assigned to one or more Business Roles, which will inform the Competencies that the individual needs to achieve as part of their Continuing Professional Development.
CPD Activities
Activities are the tasks that Professionals can complete within their Learner Portal in order to gain credit towards their CPD goal. Activities can be Assessment Tasks, Lessons, or SCORM packages. Learners can also Self-Record Activities, if they partake in CPD-eligible activities external to your organisation.
Other configuration
Some actions require setup from an Admin User such as creating Activities, configuring Assessments or configuring Training Categories.
